AI doesn't write for me.
Oh, the tin man, the robot.
"Why wouldn't you let artificial intelligence write an email for you?" It depends on the email, on the content.
I'm a big fan of technology, innovation, and the future, a future where artificial intelligence is present.
I think we still have to learn how to manage it.We're a bit like children who still don't have the distance and proper measures of the world around us, something new.
Artificial intelligence is something new that's already here.
I think artificial intelligence, at least nowadays, helps us a lot to make processes easier. It makes them faster, simpler, and more efficient.
We have a knowledge that becomes broader, wider, and the possibility comparison becomes broader and faster.
It's been three or four years.People started talking about AI in processes.
It was an ad, an AI model that wrote an email thanking the team. With a component that was strong, in my opinion, emotional, empathetic and linked to the relational aspect.
It horrifies me, literally, and I think this is also part of choosing how to use AI.
Why do I say this?Because I actually want to keep for myself all the emotional part, that mix of emotions, empathy, relationships, that as of today has been on my side, it has brought me luck in managing a team.
Because I think we can still make the difference with the emotional, relational part.
Visiting several countries, staying in touch with the team, an exchange is deeper than a simple email.
In addition to AI being essential, it is also the present future,it has an unlimited field of application today, even more ahead.
For now we use it, we use it a lot, for example in processes that aren't so creative.
I like to keep the creative part for myself, for the human being and the people I work with, but also for implementation.
It will probably become a useful tool for building, for automation, for data collection.
And also for making something that's measurable, more subtle, intangible, linked to a more emotional world of empathy.
Because in retail, in the work I do, in my role, what I'm asked for at the end of the month, at the end of the year,of the semester, are numbers, the data, the results must be measured,so it's about building the right metric, the set of KPIs, the parameters to measure a result, measure the effectiveness of a project, of an activity.
On this, I believe AI can help us, and we are now working on building a system to measure how pleasant an experience can be.
I can measure the number of training sessions, the stores involved, the number of structures installed in the stores,of the companies, but how do I measure the effectiveness of training?
I think it's reductive to think only in numbers, sales numbers, and I think AI in this case can give us, can help us build a broader evaluation parameter.
I also think it's a choice to dedicate five, ten minutes, half an hour a day to the more emotional, more personal part, and make the effort to listen to what we have inside, and then produce and share emotions with others, not only with team members.
I think AI is a great challenge for everyone, also from a personal, life, and human point of view, because it forces us to predefine the moments of our day, the time we dedicate to different activities and, a little, to priorities, our priorities.
